The Complete Scholarship Process
The same ten steps repeat every scholarship cycle, so there is always a fresh, fair chance to apply.
1. Choose Your Institution
Choose your institution from the official Scholar Ghana institution directory.
2. Submit One Application
Complete and submit one scholarship application for the current scholarship cycle.
3. Pay the Processing Fee
Pay the GHS 10 application processing fee.
4. Applications Stay Open
Applications remain open until the published deadline.
5. Applications Are Reviewed
After applications close, Scholar Ghana reviews all eligible applications.
6. Qualified Applicants Shortlisted
Qualified applicants are shortlisted.
7. Winners Announced
Winners are announced during the published announcement period.
8. Payments Disbursed
Scholarship payments are made before or at the beginning of the semester.
9. One Semester at a Time
The scholarship covers one semester only.
10. Apply Again Next Cycle
Students wishing to receive support for a future semester must submit a new application during the next scholarship cycle.
