These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Scholar Ghana website, applicant dashboard, and donation platform. By creating an account, submitting an application, or making a donation, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility & Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting a scholarship application. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

The Scholarship Application Process

• The Scholar Ghana Scholarship is awarded one semester at a time. Winning a scholarship covers only that specific semester — it does not carry over automatically.
• A new application, including a fresh GHS 10 processing fee payment, is required for every future semester you wish to be considered for.
• Applications for the next semester typically open as soon as the current semester begins, and winners are announced before the next scholarship cycle begins.
• The GHS 10 processing fee is nonrefundable once paid, regardless of the outcome of your application. It must be paid and verified before an application can be finally submitted.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee an award. Decisions are made based on eligibility criteria and available funding for that cycle.

Donations

Donations made through Scholar Ghana are voluntary contributions used to fund student scholarships and related program costs. See our Donation Policy for full details, including our refund position.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform, including submitting false information, attempting to circumvent payment verification, or interfering with the normal operation of the site.

Content You Submit

Information you submit in an application, donation message, or profile may be reviewed by Scholar Ghana administrators. Public-facing content (such as a donor message you choose to display publicly, or a published winner announcement) may be shown on the website.

Changes to the Service

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
